Now, I hope you are getting the message here as building a list of subscribers has be to the number one strategy for your business, it doesn’t matter what your product or service is you need to build your list.
Whether you are an offline business of run your business online, the first and foremost thing you should understand is that your subscribers are the main asset of your business. Not only does a list make it easier for you to contact your subscribers, it’s also a powerful tool to build a relationship with your subscribers so they can get to know, like and trust you.
In this post, I’m going to share 3 powerful ways on how you can build a list of subscribers.
If you’ve been around on the internet for some time then you will know the importance of building a list because without a list, then you pretty much don’t have a real business.
And if you haven’t then let me tell you again… Your list is your asset.
Generally, the more subscribers you have, the more money you’ll make because each subscriber is worth a certain amount of money for your business.
How many times have you been told that the money’s in the list? This may sound like a cliche to you, but it is true. If you really want a business that’s going to thrive in the long term then you’ve gotta look into building a list.
So here’s the first way on how you can start building a list:
1) JV Partners
You will always find someone that’s selling some sort of digital product in your industry or market.
So for instance, if you’re in the fishing niche then what you want to do is go to Google and search for blogs, ebooks, and forums that’s related to your niche so for the fishing market, you’d go to Google and search for “fishing ebooks” and then look for those who are experts in that of field.
Then you want to look for their contact details such as their email or use their contact form to then contact them and introduce yourself. Then build a relationship with them. That’s what it’s about.
Here’s something to think about when building relationships:
- Give WITHOUT expecting anything in return.
- It’s much more powerful and you will find the more you give the more you receive.
- But it’s not truly giving if you only do it to expect something in return.
- Whether trying to attract affiliates or customers, the same always applies. Add value to someone else’s lives and they will do the same for you.

2) Solo ads
This method is especially popular in the internet marketing and home business niche because those who build a list also sell advertising and promotional emails to other internet marketers and home business owners.
If you’re in MLM/network marketing, internet marketing, affiliate marketing or any type of niche that’s related inside the internet marketing and home business niche then this is a method you really want to look at when building a list.
One website you can visit to purchase solo ads is to go to Safe Swaps.
In Safe Swaps, what you do is you look for solo ad sellers. Solo ad pricing varies from seller to seller, and depends how many clicks you want in your email.
Let’s say you want a hundred clicks. That could cost you about fifty dollars. So in return you’re actually getting traffic to what ever product you want.
Typically, solo ad purchases direct the clicks to a landing page or squeeze page so then they can build their list.
This method does cost a little bit of money but to get started, it’s a great investment. Assuming you’ve purchased quite a lot of clicks, you can literally build a list of thousands, just overnight.
3) Social Media
We all know how big social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter are, so why not utilize it?
The best way to approach it is to create your own Facebook page. What you want to do is to post regularly and consistently. What you want to post are things like links to interesting articles, resource links, things you find useful, videos, tips…all those work.
What happens in the end is those people who are fans of your page then tell their friends or like things such as your articles, resource links and videos. This becomes a viral marketing mechanism.
